Farm Transition & Succession Event
The Haldimand, Brant, and Norfolk Federations invite you to join us for a Farm Succession & Transition Event on March 31 at the Waterford Legion.
We are pleased to welcome Len Davies, who will lead the morning with an engaging discussion on planning for successful farm transitions. The event will also feature a panel of local farmers at different stages of their succession journey, sharing their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned.
This event is open to all OFA members in Haldimand, Brant, and Norfolk Counties and is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with fellow farmers navigating succession planning.
RSVP by March 24th is appreciated (but not required).

Canada Outdoor Farm Show
For three days each September, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show transforms the site in Woodstock, Ontario into a 100-acre+ showcase of live demonstrations featuring ag equipment, a variety of crops, livestock products and much more.
For over 30 years, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show has been bringing together visitors and exhibitors from across Canada and beyond, to show everything from the biggest tractors to the smartest ways to manage your crops.
Each year, over 36,000 people and more than 650 exhibitors are excited to attend Ontario’s largest outdoor farm show – an experience where the latest in agricultural technology comes to life in the field.
Join us at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show to celebrate what we do best, learn from each other and see what’s on the horizon for farming.

Come Experience Breakfast on the Farm – Norfolk County!
Bring the whole family for a fun and educational morning on the farm!
Start your day at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds with a farm-fresh breakfast and interactive exhibits celebrating local agriculture. Then, travel by bus to Schooley Orchards/Apple Hill Lavender for a guided tour through the apple orchard and lavender fields, complete with hands-on activities and farm and food displays.
At Breakfast on the Farm, you’ll enjoy a delicious, farm-fresh breakfast and get a behind-the-scenes look at how food is grown and raised right here in Ontario. It’s a one-of-a-kind event where kids and adults alike can explore the exciting world of farming.
